Business Challenges
1. Inability to keep pace with market demand - Along with UDI requirements in EU and USA, the current random label inspection plan does not guarantee 100% acceptance of UDI expectations
2. Multilanguages requirements – Due to market requirements, the demand of visual inspection on multiple languages has become challenging. There is a need to automate and increase accuracy
3. Auto-rewinding of printed labels - The availability of auto-rewinding feature is required to improve work efficiency and optimize operator resources

Label auto-rewinding - Upon integration with Zebra ZT610, BLC has incorporated auto-rewinding while maintaining label output. It has helped free up operator resources and increased team management flexibility
UDI decoding capability - The BLC has built-in capability to differentiate Application Identifiers (AI) content of each GS1 label together with barcode inspection for UDI requirements
OCR feature - While visual inspection is not feasible, the OCR for multiple languages needs has been incorporated into the entire system. ie text recognition and barcode inspection
